Nicole Hosking abseils down the Spinnaker Tower for Salisbury Hospice.04 July 2018
As part of our continuing support for local charities, on Sunday 3rd June, Dunstan Thomas employee Nicole Hosking abseiled down the Spinnaker Tower in aid of Salisbury Hospice. Salisbury Hospice provides nursing and medical care, emotional and practical support, welfare advice, occupational and physiotherapy, complementary therapies, spiritual care and creative activities. Almost 1,000 people were able to be helped by Salisbury Hospice last year.
The challenge starts at 94 metres up, the equivalent of a 24 story building! From the top can enjoy incredible views of the Solent and the city. Nicole said “Wow, it’s high, but so worth it for such an amazing charity”. See the picture below for Nicole in action!
The total amount raised by Nicole was £2,120, including gift aid, an outstanding achievement. The amount raised by DT staff was £520, but as Dunstan Thomas CEO Chris Read matches all staff donations, the full amount rose to £1,040.
