Dunstan Thomas appoints new Product Strategy Director Andrew Martin as tech provider beefs up platform offerings.

The retirement solutions specialist Dunstan Thomas is continuing to expand its senior management team - this time with the appointment of the highly-experienced platform solutions specialist Andrew Martin.

Andrew is now appointed Dunstan Thomas’ new Product Strategy Director, effective immediately. Previously he held long-term IT consultancy roles for the likes of Aegon and Novia, and senior product development, sales and marketing roles at Prudential Assurance and London Victoria in a career spanning 25 years. Andrew will be responsible for fully-aligning Dunstan Thomas’ front and back office solutions and new toolsets, with the wrap and D2C platform markets.

Chris Read, Group Chief Executive of Dunstan Thomas Holdings, explained: “Continued expansion of the D2C and robo-advice markets, together with consolidation in the wrap platform market, is giving Dunstan Thomas a raft of new opportunities to help platform providers realise back office efficiencies, while helping them to innovate at the front – improving user experience and customer engagement.

“New tools that we are now developing will help consumers to self-educate - supporting better consumer financial decision-making. Our tools must also help providers to gain better engagement with existing and new customers. Andrew will be helping to drive through much of this innovation - working closely with other senior managers here.”

Andrew’s appointment rounds out a year of strong growth and innovation for Dunstan Thomas in which it has completed largescale Imago deployments in Close Brothers, Multrees, Suffolk Life, Aegon and Wealth at Work, amongst others.
