Leading wealthtech partner Dunstan Thomas has been selected following a review of the boutique SIPP and SSAS provider Alltrust Services Ltd.’s pensions technology stack, following its acquisition by the Guernsey-based specialist investment services provider UAP Group.
Under the terms of the agreement, Alltrust will migrate the pensions administration of their SIPP book to Imago Administration; while Dunstan Thomas’ Imago Illustrations will provide pension illustrations for Alltrust SIPP members, while continuing to provide compliant and highly engaging pensions illustrations for the acquired Rowanmoor SIPP book.
UAP Group funded the purchase of Rowanmoor Personal Pensions Ltd.’s SIPP book from the administrators in February 2023. Rowanmoor is a long standing customer of Dunstan Thomas Imago Illustrations and Imago Administration software – providing pensions illustrations and administering its circa 4,000 SIPPs and 800 FPTs which have a total investment value of over £1.5bn.
Rob Shipman, Group CEO and Co-founder of UAP Group, commented:
“It has made absolute sense, following a comprehensive review of Alltrust’s existing technology stack and a side by side review of the features and functionality within incumbent pension illustrations and administration systems, to pick the winning technology provider for all books of pensions business we have acquired.
Dunstan Thomas is a true best of breed software and services provider for pensions administration and regulated pension illustrations. The fact that Rowanmoor gave Imago Administration such a positive review, as one of Dunstan Thomas’ longest standing customers, provided added reassurance.”
Paul Muir, Co-Managing Director of Dunstan Thomas, said:
“After a comprehensive internal review of the options, we are delighted that Imago Administration was chosen as the preferred pension administration solution for both the Rowanmoor and Alltrust SIPP, FPT and SSAS books going forward. UAP clearly has big plans for expansion into the specialist pensions market in the UK and we look forward to supporting these plans as they expand.”
