Igniting Innovation at Dunstan Thomas

Dunstan Thomas supports Naomi House As part of our ongoing focus on innovation, Dunstan Thomas launched Ignite, an internal initiative designed to spark positive change across the company. This year, Ignite has featured knowledge-sharing spotlight sessions, company-wide feedback initiatives, and most recently, the Ignite Launchpad.

Ignite Launchpad is an opportunity for Dunstan Thomas staff to explore and develop ideas that could make work better, smarter or easier. Over a two-week period, employees dedicate a day to pursue projects that enhance technology, streamline processes, improve collaboration or learn something new.

The response was exceptional. Twenty employees took part, delivering fifteen impressive projects that showcased true entrepreneurial spirit, from ideas that focused on improving how we operate, to team and client culture, business insight and AI. To celebrate the breadth of ideas, six awards were presented:

  • Small Change, Big Impact - Most effective minor improvement: Greg Hollands – Imago Administration launcher
  • On-Trend - Most topical innovation: Matt Roblin - MCPs for AI, an Illustrations use case
  • Team Spark - Best cross-team collaboration: Danielle Byrne & Georgie Weston – Robotics Process Automation within TPA
  • Customer First - Greatest client experience impact: Denise Gravatt & Sam Nice - Pictures over pages, a different approach to requirements definition
  • The Nucleus Award - Executive panel’s favourite: Wai Man & Alok Gupta – Imago Administration policy cloner
  • Best Thing - Best overall project: Wai Man & Alok Gupta – Imago Administration policy cloner
